The historic 1850's terrace houses make for an interesting shopping experience. Outlets for varied and interesting quality merchandise and Australian made gifts can be found here in Sydney's oldest area.
Major department stores, boutiques and shopping complexes can be found in the heart of Sydney - Pitt Street, Castlereagh Street, George Street and the beautiful Queen Victoria Building built in 1890's or Darling Harbour along the waters edge.
For those wanting a bargain or a unique gift to take home, the markets in Glebe, Balmain and Paddington or boutiques in Double Bay and Woollahra are sure to hold many delightful ideas.
